The Wausaukee Alumni Education Foundation (WAEF) is thrilled to sponsor the 2nd annual Wausaukee Student Writing Contest!  Wausaukee School students in grades 3-12 are encouraged to submit a written piece for consideration.

Writing Theme

Write about a Superhero that you invent!  Here are some ideas to get you started, pick what works for you or come up with your own idea: What is your Superhero’s superpower and why is it helpful?  What is your Superhero’s name, secret identity, or weakness?  How does your Superhero travel around? Does she/he have a sidekick? Write a story or poem about your Superhero’s typical day or an adventure.
